Locata® warning tapes

Locata® warning tapes are used to alert future excavators of cables and pipes buried underground. Made from high quality polyethylene polymers, these tapes are non-adhesive and give an obvious visual warning of buried utilities. Bright colours and a bold design make Locata® underground warning tapes the ideal choice for protecting the integrity of underground services, as well as the safety of construction crews during excavations.

• Electrical cables
• Gas lines
• Water pipes
• Sewage lines
• Telecommunications and fibre (fiber) optics

Different colours are available to correspond with specific utilities; blue for water, yellow for gas etc.

Our underground warning tape is resistant to both acidic and alkaline soil types. This makes it very tough and long-lasting, ensuring an optimum lifetime. All pigmentation is also 100% lead free.

Locata® underground warning tapes do not offer any physical protection against excavation, but alerts crews - at a glance - to the presence of previous utility installations.
